OT: Can anyone enlighten me about a strange phenomenon I see occasionally on IQCharts--

Once in awhile, there is a bar that is so tremendously longer than all the other bars that you have to know something strange has happened. For instance, in a 5 minute chart for a stock that's been trading in a range between 85 and 90 all day, you might suddenly see a bar that goes all the way from 20 to 95,--then the same narrow trading range resumes. Anybody know what this means? TIA
