Drive letter assignment stuff ... Please help us understand your problem further. Check your CONFIG.SYS file for ZIP or IOMEGA stuff. Posting the contents may trigger some suggestions. You may wish to UNinstall your zip stuff and start installation over again. Another hint: Catch the screen displays as your system boots. Once you gather enough clues, you'll be in a position to solve the mystery. Cheers, PW. P.S. I believe drive letters are assigned BEFORE Windows loads.
