Benekea & Les -- On Tues VIX spiked over 31. Its been down ever since. As of today, VIX has broken below its 13, 50 & 200-day EMAs. On yesterday's daily chart, VIX appeared just about ready to give a MACD sell signal. I see support for the VIX at 22.84 (the low on 7/28/99). As far as the similarity between now and 1988, I guess will just have to wait and see what happens.
