An examination of all your postings evidences that you want to 'dummy' everyone to the real y2k dangers, to cause everyone to be so 'satisfied' and 'content' with all the herculean efforts underway for the last couple of years, that no one will adequately prepare!

Hmmm... now ain't you special.

Can you back those "examinations" up with hard documentation where I told people not to worry or prepare?? Now how you define adequately and how I define the term is obviously different. However, since adequately is modifying the underlying verb, "prepare", you cannot claim that I'm telling people not to prepare.

In fact, I'm telling people just the opposite, but I'm doing it calmly and with a logic that treats Y2K like any other natural or manmade disaster that could suddenly strike unawares.

Why is that you don't want to acknowledge that other disaster scenarios warrant similar consideration as Y2K??

Are earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, or man-made events like infowar attacks on critical infrastructure, or biological terrorism not important enough to rank up there on your list of doomsday scenarios??

Why is that??

The most reasonable explanation for your attempting to convince everyone that 'Y2K IS TOTALLY MENTAL' is your self-centered interests by which you believe you can convince enough people reading that to reduce the people shutting down the banks via withdrawels, emptying the food shelves before you get there, and otherwise clogging any and all product distribtuiion lines (you know enough about JIT to be very panicky now, of course!) before you get yours!

Hmmm.... so you're saying that I'm intentionally telling the rest of the United States not to prepare until I "get mine"??

How much do you think I'm planning on buying?? So much that I need everyone else not to panic until my Trillions are locked away into gold or silver?? <VBG>

Oh you're logic is hilarious Ken....

Here you are, someone who has admitted he has NEVER worked on an embedded system, yet you claim to be expert enough to make the claim that "it's too late".

I really think I'm going to pity you if Y2K fails to live up to your dire expectations.

You've clearly put so much emotion into developing you doomsday scenarios that I wonder what disaster you'll next have to fabricate to justify your continued negativity.

Even the Serbian people aren't as negative as you. And they lived for weeks without power, or transporation, and with all of their bridges blown up.

I'm glad I don't live in "your world".
