Frederic Conrad, now you are being presumptuous. First of all, I don't consider myself to be a feminist, adamant, or any other type. I am a married woman, and have always known it is a man's world. Because of the generation I come from, this has never been an issue in my life. My husband and I respect each other so these man/woman arguments are irrelevant to our relationship.

As far as one gender having more to lose than the other gender, I would tend to think that this has more to do with a person's individual circumstances than what their gender is.

In your statement "Your request for personal information may also be perceived as "ammunition" provisions for personal attacks."

The most personal information I have ever asked anyone here, is what their profession is. If they feel that it would be jeopardizing their safety, then they have the option to withhold that information.

Just for the record, I prefer my husband to be head of the household. As I stated earlier, we respect each other, so all of this "Who's Better" stuff is a non-issue in my home, and in my life.

Since I figured out from your profile that you are probably, younger than my youngest child, I don't expect you to understand my general view of life.

I think that there is one key word that all of us should remember when dealing with people, whether it's your parents, children, co-workers, neighbors, etc. The word is "Respect"

Sincerely, C Kahn
