My take is that AMD know Intel are going to come out with RMBS support and sell it as a competitive advantage. AMD are making a pre-emptive strike against that potential advantage. As for Intel - the only reason Intel wouldn't offer 133 SDRAM would be if they knew RDRAM prices were going to come down very quickly so as not to be a problem. They would be dumb to give it to AMD on a plate by letting them keep their performance advantage on all but the most expensive of systems. Whatever Intel are doing, the stock looks pretty sick to me. I am waiting to go long RMBS but not yet. Rather miss the boat and catch another one than jump on a sinking ship.
