It looks like USRX and Ascend a kicking everyone else's butt in RA market share. Many will interpret continued weakness in Cascade and Shiva mean weakness in the whole sector. Of course, we won't know fore sure until until USRX and Ascend report first quarter results.

I can't believe that Ascend paid 11 times trailing revenues for Cascade. Ascend will almost surely trade down in response to the deal, but, I've been wrong before. It may be a good pairing from a strategic POV, but the price they paid - what on earth are they think of? The dilution is terrible. 3Com & USR paid what, about 3.3x times each others' revenues in their merger?
