Vedit - Is there a minimum volume below which MACD is not reliable? I was looking at my daughter's company - CPTH - and MACD 8-17-9 looked good on August 4, but there were only 3 up days - Aug. 4-5-6 - and then things fell apart. Could this be volume-related? CPTH has an average volume of 400,000, dropping to 100,000-200,000 on quiet days. Maybe that's not enough to give a 5-10 day run when the MACD trend goes positive?
