Ron, based on what supportive data, do you believe that?

Ken,

It's called logic.

There are 66 satellites orbiting the planet at this very moment, completely dedicated to the Iridium system.

They cost a fortune to launch (where else did they accrue $3 billion in debt). So while it's quite possible they may just shut it down, logic dictates that there is value there, once the debt is dismissed.

Do you believe that it isn't logical to assume that someone won't find the resources to perpetuate this system, even if it is the US gov't??

What do YOU BELIEVE will happen with the Iridium system??

And as a side point, I want to let you know that I understand your hesitantcy about discussing your theory on "practical" Y2K preparations.

But I guess it isn't as easy to discuss preparations as it is to continually persist in strip people of their comfort zone.

Kinda like telling people how screwed up their religion is, but not offering another belief with which to replace it.

Do you even have a belief system that people can follow in order to properly prepare for Y2K??
