We are at the 5 month mark since the big investment by Paul Allen, Where have we gone since? Here are a few items... Media Metrics top 10 Numerous aquisitions Revamped Hypermart and Silicon Investor Increased Earnings I would bet that there are many developments in the works and congratulate the Go2Net crew in their many achievements! The one thing I have noticed is the price change from the close of trading on the day of the Allen investment is up only 12%... Yes 12%... $57.00 to $65.00. Russell Horowitz stated recently that the street is underestimating the revenue and profitability opportunities of the company??? Wow...When this deal was announced on March 15, 1999 Go2Net had a #24 ranking in media metrics to todays #9. I believe they will be in the top 6 by years end. Combine this with the ecommerce opportunities coming in the next 60 days relating to the many recent aquisitions with Hypermart and broadband rollout in the late fall and....... The one thing of note is the role Playsite could play in the future of this company especially in light of the broadband future... I believe there is a HUGE opportunity with regard to interactive / action / multiplayer categories. My question would be is GNET making any moves in that direction????
