RE: Iridium filing

On CNBC (after the market closed) the comment was made that I*'s banks are demanding that MOT guarantee another $300 million of loans and MOT refused. Question: do they think a settlement can be reached because 1) the banks will give in, 2) MOT will give in, 3) some white knight will show up with a big bag of money, 4).... I've run out of ideas.

Methinks MOT has a big decision to make - whether they throw good money (another $300 million in guarantees) after bad money (the $700 million or so they are already on the hook for). To put it another way, how much is a customer like I* worth to them?

Last question - how confident in I*'s future can MOT be if they are not willing to come up with another $300 million in guarantees?

Glad they have this problem and not Q.
