Hi Cacaito,

>>>> Burn rate $5 to $6 millions per quarter. Joe P said he could run the company on $5 millions per year.<<<<

From the 10Q they have enough cash to run till end of 2000.

43/6 = 7M/quarter!

They are on the hook for 5 million in phentolamine. Anybody know what the shelf life of that stuff is? They have no synthesis capability, so they will have to pay to have it repurified/recertified if it goes bad.

The part I can't figure out yet is how they intend to make money.

They have expended more than $500K in inventory and gotten back something like $180K in royalties. It's costing them money to get rid of the stuff!

I agree, the brown fat is no big deal, but one has to ask whether or not this isn't going to raise/or has already raised a few eyebrows when/if an advisory panel meets to have a serious discussion with Zonagen.

I once new a zealous body builder who liked brown fat so much, he would sit in a bathtub full of ice water to shiver fat away and get down to brown fat. He says he got the idea from an old book the military put out circa 1940's(?) I told him he was nuts! Then he said, "Yup, it takes nuts!"
