JB2, Check this link out for a comparison of many online brokers (discount and daytrading). sonic.net Also, you need to have a margin account to short stocks. Though you might not want to start shorting right away, it is something that you will be needing if you are going to be succesful in changing markets. Just use your discipline and do not overextend yourself. Look very closely at fee structures. They can be very confusing if you do not really know what the nature of your buys (size,ecn,etc) are going to be. Hope all goes well and don't lower you stops. :-( GOOD LUCK, OZ
