George,

Spoke with Ellen today. She assured me that if Xoma does a conference call that the she would widely disseminate a phone number in which individual investors could listen to a tape playback.

As to why the release after the market close on Monday vs. releasing before the market opens (as Xoma tended to do in the past) - it seems that there are more analysts attempting to provide coverage on the company and releasing after the market closes provides more time for them to properly develop an opinion.

It also seemed to me (my opinion - not her statement), that it is still very much "up in the air" as to whether there will be a mengio announcement on Monday.

As to the question - are you working this weekend? She laughed and said that they were very busy.

She also spent a few minutes describing how secure the trial results were (as compared to a previous employer several years ago).

Finally, I spoke to her around lunch today (1PM EDT) and she made a comment that led me to believe that the price action yesterday at the close had caught her attention.

Best of luck to everyone and lets keep a little perspective : if XOMA's trial data doesn't look good, we're going to lose a lot of money; but, a bunch of kids are going to have to continue suffering from a very cruel disease. Let's hope for the best.
