Even if one of the company may go out of business, some rich guy in this world would buy it since the bankrupt company is so cheap in value (and it is still a good company).

I think you are wrong. These are not good companies nor are they cheap in value. Don't forget the long-term debt they carry. The debt in some cases is worth more than the equity and after the equity holders are wiped out then the new owners (former debt holders) will probably sell the assets rather than face continued losses. Seagate has every incentive to prolong the price war in my opinion. I am counting on them to do so.
