The "big picture" is that this company has neither the current earnings or potential earnings within 5 years to justify the existing $100,000,000 market capitalization. Therefore, no one other than newbie stock "traders" wants to buy it. CSX doesn't want to buy it. CSX gets to Long Island already at Fresh Pond. NS doesn't want to buy it. NS is selling short lines. NY&A might want to buy it, but they are barely profitable after a tough 2 years. None of those players have barging experience. Cal might want to buy it to combine with his barging operation at Atlantic Terminal, but not at this price. An analogous situation is the lease vs purchase decision made by everyone every day. Many times it is cheaper to rent an asset than to buy it; it is cheaper to hire a service than raise capital to own it. 246810
