What are projected memory sales for all memory types for this year (DRAM, SDRAM, SRAM, DRDRAM combined)? Anybody recall offhand?

i recollect the total according to dq to be $60+ billion.

If average license fee is 1.7%, you'll need $26.5 billion in rambus sales in 01

two thoughts here...
1) pc and server memory are projected to be 50% of rmbs revenues...here we believe the royalties to average 1.7%.

2) rmbs cfo has stated other royalties are higher...up to 5%.

dan,
rmbs ceo said in the conference call that he expects rmbs to get 50% of the dram industry by then. that would be around $30 billion +/-.
the numbers certainly begin to correlate don't you agree.
actually, i seem to be a little light, but then i am known to be quite conservative.
:o)
