Here's another story posted on RB, supposedly from the New York Post:

Some interesting items:
The press release also claimed Flores "has been doing research into the area of immunology for the past 15 years at his own laboratory located just outside Lisbon in Portugal," and successfully tested his AIDS formula on patients in Madrid in 1990. But prosecutors said he was in prison between 1983 and 1992, doing time for two murders in Mesa County, Colo.
Looks like the body count is increasing. I guess this also explains the date discrepancies in the original PR. "Where were you, Dr. Flores, between 1983 and 1992 while these patients were being totally cured with hardly any side effects? Exactly where was your laboratory?"
The district attorney there, Frank Daniels, told The Post Flores was convicted of second-degree murder for helping a man kill his parents.
Oh... first his pets, now parents?!? At least he was just helping out.
Not a good man, Daniels said.
No, not nice at all ...
Flores also claimed in the press release he was an honor graduate of the University of Colorado, but prosecutors said he never attended either.
Since I was actually an honor graduate of the University of Colorado, I expect an apology on behalf of the alumni association. No need to personally deliver it, Flores, an email through an anonymous remailer will do. Prosecutors also contacted one of the patients he claimed to have cured in Spain and the patient said he'd never been treated with "Plasma Plus" and does not know Flores, the criminal complait says.
I hope that was Ben. He faces up to 10 years in prison and a $1 million fine, if convicted.
Something tells me he doesn't have $1M.
Uniprime didnt return a call for comment.
They really could use a better IR person.
P.S. The UPCA story just hit our local TV news. I can hardly wait for the 60 minutes version. Maybe Ben will be on. |
