From: Board of Directors of The Board (A non-profit organization)
Date: 8/14/99
Subject: Parrot Award

Today, at 4:15PM GMT, The Board (hereinafter called "Board") voted unanimously to Award you the FEELINGs Parrot Award for outstanding parroting. This award is given only to those outstanding members who stick with the flock, feather their rhetoric and are able to clack their beaks in Morse code. The Board also considered you for the coveted Golden Lemming Award but it is being held in abeyance as some other more worthy may yet earn it.

The vote was taken only this morning and the Board held unanimously that you can keep on squawking while others are talking.

The reasons for the Board's decision are as follows:

1. Your presentations relate to the past and not the present, thus should actually be termed "pastations."

2. Your "scientific evidence" is conceived by compromised, partisan parrots.

3. You fail to take risks, a sure sign of a parrot who gets its feathers ruffled when contemplating an unknown, like the future.

4. You cause the Board, repeatedly, to pick up after your droppings.

Congratulations on this Board award. It is the "beak" of accomplishment on this thread. Although some think it's for the birds, you will not get a bill (as we are a non-profit Board).

For the Board,

Henry Two-by-Four
