Sure, bearcub, I can do that. Need to clean that cabinet anyway. I'll simply get out a calculator and keep a tally of the available calories as I put things back in the cabinet. Understand, though, that there's nothing "average" about my pantry because I rarely buy in quantity--only staples that are hard to find. And you'll need to make your own judgments about how much might be consumed by visitors or in comfort binges.
