Aloha Mike: Hey you are better at following the "QCOM lucklines" strategy than I am. I bought SNDK after the awesome research and case that Ausdauer presented here. Not sorry - to put it mildly. But since unlike following a pure GG approach, I try to hold the both the first and second leader in an area, I will look at SSTI now. Thanks for drawing it to our attention here.

BTW When I raised the question of holding a "basket of stocks" when it is early and not clear who may emerge among the leaders in what may be either a gorilla or a royalty game, I really mean two or at most three of the leaders, no more. The proper description of that is probably not a "basket" but a couple of contenders for gorilladom or royalty in a given area, then concentrate over time toward the one who begins to pull out in front.

As you know, JDSU is the "One King" in my game, but following this approach which I have found works for me, I also hold SDLI. Both are clear leaders in fiberoptics component equipment supply and show every indication excellent management. The key difference is that JDSU since the merger is much much larger than SDLI and covers both active and passive components so it can put together "modules" in the near future. But despite all that, SDLI is a strong holding, especially since it is ahead in supplying the undersea fiber market which is growing very fast and strong.

Enough. Getting carried away, since this is such fun. Best.
