And I've noticed that certain words and phrases have a completely different meaning to us than to the Brits. For example, I didn't know that when they say somebody is "Pssd Off", it means they are drunk. I have found some very nice people who don't mind explaining these things to me, instead of writing me off as an "Ignorant American". But I really do enjoy communicating and learning about different people, because I sincerely want to know and understand my fellow man. I'm including a little story about the "Queens English". I hope you get a kick out of it.
