We finally disagree. I have to side with gp here. It's trivially true that a desirable open access and QoS can't be implemented at this time. gp's argument is a definition of where ATHM should go and that tends to define what you are even though you can't physically realize it yet. Management would tend to think in terms of what needs to be done to give the product added value and differentiation in future markets, rather than secure preferential treatment in current markets and widen the product penetration which requires making the product dull and uniform. The former kind of approach gets what the latter produces admittedly more slowly, but the latter never brings about the former. For the long term this is an important distinction.
