Given this,

>>>MCI-WCOM SEC Y2K Disclosure:
"The Company achieved year 2000 compliance for the majority of its mission critical systems, including network and customer interfacing systems, on or before March 31, 1999. The remaining mission-critical systems, and non-mission critical systems, are targeted for compliance by June 30, 1999, with full deployment of the remediated solutions throughout the Company's network targeted for completion by September 30, 1999."

and this: (from the Bloomberg article)

>>>Customers are frustrated. Sean Donelan, senior network
architect at St. Louis-based Data Research Associates Inc., said

of them have come true yet.''

DRA, which connects public libraries to the Internet, has
had problems with its MCI WorldCom service for the last six
months, Donelan said
...<<<

It of course begs the question "Are any of the recent or past difficulties related to y2k upgrades?"

(On or before March 31 to mid-August is about 6 months)

Has MCI-WCOM been asked this question directly? What was the response?

(I have not seen it mentioned any any news article I've read in the past few days.)
