"but the notion of dumping it for the ugly and awkward old site not a good fix."

it would be nice if everyone could be satisfied. definitely.

rtev, in fairness, the "ugly and awkward old site" is the same as it's ever been. it's what a lot of people came up on and it's what they want to keep. i believe that more people feel good about the ugly old SI than feel good about the new.

"I cannot see the point of saying that everyone should be subjected to the old site."

again, in fairness, if the beta experiment was abandoned you would be left with what you had when you came here. you would be "subjected to" that which you were willing to pay for in the first place. interestingly, your statement expresses the same sentiments that so many classic fans have been jumping up and down about all along. they want to know why they are being subjected to the new site.

rtev, tell me what you think... do you think it's possible that SI will scrap the beta experiment?

:)
