Ken... My advising people to store 60 days worth of bare essentials is certainly far more advice than you are offering. You're predicting the end of the civilized world as we know it, yet are unwilling to say what you really feel people should do. Why is that?? Are you saying that since the world is coming to an end that we might as well not prepare?? If you say nothing, that would seem to be the impression you are leaving. Who knows? Maybe you expect you'll be "raptured" on Jan 1st and thus that's all the preparation you have allowed for. If you're going to claim the world is coming to an end because of Y2K, you certainly shouldn't feel overly concerned about what people think of your preparatory plans. I mean, claiming the economy is going to collapse is pretty extreme in and of itself, Ken. Why is it so difficult for you to naturally progress to advising others how they should prepare??
