There is an excellent compendium of Y2K impact articles at this site: year2000.com

Someone has already posted one article from this site. However, if you are curious about the impact of Y2K programming flaws on certain industries or countries, you should peruse these articles.

Some, such as "Time out on stairway to seventies heaven", appear to be tripe, but most of these articles are legitimate attempts to anticipate the various disasters, problems, inconveniences, or non-events, that may (or may not) occur on January 1.

Many of the articles report the results of tests and upgrades. For example, this article describes the failed attempt by London Electric to upgrade its 400,000 prepayment customers, which ironically resulted in a small scale blackout: computerweekly.co.uk
