I had a pet raccoon when I was a teenager. Fun, if destructive (not that I cared), when small. Got nasty when it got big. Eventually returned to the wild, meaning that it slept in the woods and dumped the garbage cans instead of sleeping on the porch and dumping the garbage cans.
