Candlesticks or/ Bars? I'm curious to know who uses what & why...
I love candlesticks, because of the immediate gratification they give. I can tell right away what the sentiment is out there-bearish or bullish...
Candlesticks seem to be a right-brain tool for the visually-minded,
whereas Bars (used by Raschke, Cooper, in Mark Boucher's course & mentioned by Trader Alan yesterday (as in " a hammer reversal on the 13:05p bar"?!) seem very left-brained to me...more mathimatical?
I've also heard it said that once you're in a trade you should not be looking so much at the chart as at the time & sales/Prints etc...
Anyone?
TIA
Dotty
