Actually, it's funny; I've tried to further a good cause many times by offering to prove I am a Registered Republican to anyone who, if wrong about their assumptions, would donate $1,000 to St. Jude Children's Hospital. So far, no takers. People tend to doubt me because I refuse to always spout the party line, and refuse to support Republican hypocrites. I also don't accept or excuse Republican malfeasance with the rationalization, "Well, Slick Willy is a thousand times worse..."
You're right, I haven't liked GWB from day one. I've known a lot of reformed thises, and reformed thats, and rarely are they completely reformed. Plus, from what I've read, I don't think he's all that smart. This guy can't be the best man in America for the job. |
