In a country of 260 million who can say who is the best man for the job? Lets face it, the presidency is an easy job. It doesn't take a cerebral giant. The only requirement is being photogenic and comfortable on camera. The founders set the presidency up to be a weak office. It does mean presider, after all. He was supposed to preside over where the real power lay, the congress. Time has mutated all that. A president is only as good as the people he surrounds himself with. There is a strong roster from which W can pick from. I think the republic would be safe. This is one area where Clinton has been weak. IMO hes one of those guys who needs to be the smartest person in the room. If he had hired more distinguished people to advise him, his presidency might have an entirely different image right now.

You'll pardon me if I am suspicious of your party affiliation. I have worked in a few campaigns and there were times when we had great fun pretending to be something we were not. I remember one guy in a gubernatorial campaign I worked on in 94 was good at imitating voices. He would call the local talk radio show and say he was supporting one of our opponents while at the same he would say ridiculous things that we hoped would undermine this opponent. Sometimes he would call 3-4 times in the same morning using different voices. LOL

Chalu, if you are not a Democrat operative you are at least an agent provocateur.
