<<Just because you're willing to let people you don't know tell you what's good for you and what should happen with your money doesn't mean that the rest of us have to go along with it. For god's sake, think this through before becoming a cheerleader for anything seek puts out. It's your investment, and if you don't watch out for it, no one else will. >>>
Well, I must take at least some offense to your response. You say I am willing to let others say what should happen with my money.....NOBODY decides anything for me, except me. I, and only I, decide what to do or what not to do when it comes to my investements. It is ENTIRELY my decision whether to buy seek, sell seek, hold seek, or whatever. At the same time, it is entirely up to seek, and their shareholders to decide what is best for the company. You are entitled to your vote...after that, YOU are entitled to do as you please with your investement.
What I don't understand is...here I am, happy with the deal and happy with my investement. You obviously are not. Yet here you are telling me that I let others decide what to do. Do you still hold your seek shares ??? If so, why ? You don't like the deal....why blame management. Make your own decisions. You are entitled to your opinion, just as I am.
Additionally, I certainly am not cheerleading, nor hyping this stock or this deal. I simply expressed a very simple and basic opinion, oh which I am entitled. This opinion is simply we are in no position to say what is right or wrong. We are not behind the scenes...we have no idea what is best for this company because without first hand knowledge of all happenings, we cannot asses a fair judgement.
My opinion is simply I think the deal will be fine...we will all be very happy with our return of investement. Would I have liked 2 shares for every 1...sure I would..who wouldn't...but I am very happy with the existing deal and feel my % retun will be more then adequate.
