Yesterday I picked out the necklaces and saved her from a huge mistake... The bridesmaid dresses are navy and she was to have the Maid of Honor in light blue - which would be fine... But... They didn't have light blue so to substitute she picked out a teal green satin to go with the navy chiffon. ICK! I had to be blunt, called her on the phone and politely told her that she wouldn't be happy with the finished product. I suggested a complimentary color like burgundy perhaps for the Maid of Honor and the Best Man. She has made me the official organizer of the event and I have full reign at the bridal shop. The Maid of Honor however is not cooperating. There is little time, actually none now, to order dresses and she cancelled the appointment yesterday to fit the dress because of a hangover. I've never met her but I'm sure looking forward to it :-[ The poor bride was out of her mind yesterday with that one. I'll have to post pictures when the even is over.
