You guys are starting to confuse me. Do I have some elaborate system or something different. I recently changed location from one room to another which has a connection for my cable tv. I connected that cable to my motorola modem and I'm back online. They did (Comcast) change all of the cable in my area last year. As far as the ethernet card go's mine was installed in 15 min. had no trouble with IRQ's This should be no problem if you look at irq as a party giving information to another party. Just need to find which irq to use. Sounds as if installers were not qualified.
