re: "Also, I would advise any members of this thread that if they feel that they may be the victim of advice that may have been given insincerely and as a result of which they lost money or opportunity that they consider legal action."

I am giving very serious consideration to, after a dramatic AMD common move that I hope for, (and I have to admit here in all candor that my position increases in AMD may have been influenced negatively by pAUL's posts*) starting a thread of participants on this thread who would like to join a class action suit against someone that I identify as pAUL who may have, in their and my judgement, given advice on this thread which may have not only been contrary to actions that he actually was taking himself, but which may have resulted in material losses either by opportunity loss or by premature sales of stock, the timing of which he may have enjoyed some influence.

Feel free to comment on the thread; though I would prefer the "private message" mechanism.

Regards to all of the Good Guys,

DARBES

*As I have posted, I do not read all of pAUL's posts. I do not recall any post from him in which he actually indicated that a net "long" position was appropriate or that such was what he was actually undertaking. I recall only a steady stream, from him, of bad mouthing AMD and I would contend that his position seemed to be that anyone who was "long" AMD is intellectually challenged (to put it more mildly than I recall that he did). If, in fact, he was a buyer of the stock at the same time that he was cajoling us investors to sell or at least not to buy, depending on the timing of his recommendations and of the timing of his purchases; such may be interpreted as "bad faith" and my be legally actionable. Please note, I am being careful to not say that such is the case but I believe that the situation needs to be thoughtfully and carefully scrutinized.
