That's EERIE!!!

BTW, a while back, it was reported that many COBOL programmers think that computers programmed in the COBOL language will begin to fail on 9/9/99!!! Just think of the implications of this if that is true!

On CNBC on Friday, some commentators were convinced that the markets will rise from here on while others thought the relatively big rise we saw was nothing more than the result of short-covering and an oversold position.

Bill Seidman (a former Fed guy but now a regular commentator on CNBC) opines that the Alan Greenspan will not be raising rates. But Elaine Garzarelli is convinced A.G. will raise rates by at least 0.25%. Many speculators think that the 0.25% raise is a given and have already factored that into their investment strategy. And because they no longer fear a much rumored 0.50% hike, they think they are sorta' home free!
