I agree with you that some disk drive companies will go into bankruptcy very soon. However, there will be no reward for the winning company for this price war. Whenever the winner is to claim the victory of winning the market share and try to raise the price of hard drives, a lot of other people will jump into this business right at the moment. The Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese companies are very interested and eagerly waiting for taking the advantage of this price war. I am not sure for Korean if they have the money at hand, but I am pretty sure that Japanese and Taiwanese are preparing for this opportunity for a long time. What they need is to wait for the end of the price war, and to buy the technologies and even the whole company from the losers of this price war. If Seg is trying to hold the market share and to block these new competitors, then a new round of price war will break out again.

I feel very sad that I did not sell all my Seg shares in the early of this years (luckily I did sell most of them) I believe a lot of people have the same kind of feeling as I have now. What can I say, it only takes a few stupids to kill the whole industry.
