Glass is half full on Waterhouse re: penny stocks

Other brokerages have better deals on penny stocks and daytrading tools.

IMVHO, Waterhouse will do better by serving the more conservative investors, as they presently do.

Catering to daytrading is a fad; long term, there will be costs associated with helping folks gamble their money away. Better to encourage research and long-term or positional trading. Waterhouse does pretty good at this.

Since you invest in penny stocks, you know that a lot of them are scams. A firm wishing to build a reputation of continued respectability might well not wish to encourage penny stock trades.

If you wish cheap, I believe there are better places to go. Cost of trades is not my primary interest in TWE as an investment.

That would be value of TWE compared to other OLB's on a variety of criteria, and lower cost per account gained. The international exposure is a good thing to look forward to bearing fruit over the next 3 years.

I appreciate that you are looking for the best trading deal- but you must admit, trading in penny stocks makes you an expert ( lucky, or broke :^) and hardly representative of the sea of other investors.

Good luck.
