Vip, Agree 100% on Schmidt and what his attitude ought to be towards stock buying. If you don't buy into the program---we don't need you here taking up space. Elaine's head has been spinning for months now. There are those who question her actually calling the '87 crash, too. Avid announced the Intel purchase when? 2 more insiders appeared on my report this week. Miller the CB bought 25,000 shares Feb.12 at 11 1/4-3/8, and Oppenheim, a SR. VP, bought 5,000 on Feb.10 at 11 1/2. Last week they reported that Flaherty, the CFO, bought 17,000 on Feb.12 at 11 1/4. One would think that they would not be able to buy before the announcement. Those are legislated periods of inactivity for insiders. Dwight
