The "..sliminess.." of HollyWeird operations has been, and continues to be, the subject of many articles and the butt of continuous tongue-in-cheek jokes on Letterman and the Tonight Show. (..and for .04/share I sure as hell will not waste my time chasing paste-oids..)

If you think the "..character.." of the industry has changed, look at who they desperately supported and defend as President; no matter what that POS does. Johnny Carson put it best when he said, "..Hollywood is like a giant bowl of party-mix; if you take out all the fruits and the flakes - all you have left is the NUTS.."! Amen.

The problem here is that for every savvy investor that is in this ".. penny play..", there are dozens of damp-eared newbies, and college boys betting their tuition, involved in this King-Size crap shoot.

You, LB, JeffO, jhild, and I know when to pull the plug on this ballast-blower, if and when in tanks; or we can afford to eat the entry fee. 90% of the others don't have a clue as when to buy or bail, and can't tolerate the loss if it hums.

This isn't LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES, it's a penny-ante gamble on a collection of HollyWeird pie-in-the-sky. If it goes to $10+/share (..before 2002..), I'll laugh my tush off - and send JeffO a box of Cohiba's. But, I think my stogies are safe right here in the humidor.

The price of hiring a KPMG (..solely for the sake of clean skirts..) is negligible compared to the catering budget for one remote shoot.

So, let's stop treating this thing like it's part of everybody's 401K retirement portfolio - and see if we can get management to "..INVEST.." in a little insurance. It will sure beat having Cataldo end up on the front page of the National Enquirer; in a story involving Brazil, the IRS, the SEC, and some kid selling pencils in Burbank - who could have gone to college.

I'm not a DISNEY stock watcher, but look at the hoopla and obscene amounts of "..bonuses..", etc they've been arguing over in the executive suite. Every bonus and gouge that you run across is coming right out of the stockholders pockets; nothing is for "free"..!!
