I have not seen any substantiation to support the alleged wrongdoings surrounding the June 11 ruling. It appears that the writer that you quote is repeating rumors and has not provided ANY corroboration. Have you seen anything at all to support these allegations? It has been over 14 FULL MONTHS since the June 11, 1999 ruling.

As far as wanting to avoid having its judiciary appearing to be corrupt, I doubt that the current government would want to hide what has generally been reported, under the rug. Quite the contrary. If there is evidence of corruption, the current government has been saying it wants it out in the open. So someone is confused here!
