nuke44, when you mentioned that the requirements for the U.S. House and Senate are that a candidate must be 30 years of age, a U.S. citizen, and a resident of the state where he seeks office, this brought to mind Mary Bono, Sonny Bono" widow. I don't live in California any more. But I am still interested in what's going on there. I realize that Mary Bono did have to campaign to win her husband's seat. But I'm curious about her qualifications. I mean no offense to Mary Bono. But it seems to me that before her husband died, she was content to be a wife and mother, and had no political ambitions of her own. I'm curious to know what other people think of this particular situation. C Kahn
