Michelle, these companies have very small floats, which makes shorting them a risky adventure in spite of their bloated valuations. i have heard rumors of a short squeeze in JNPR, i.e. the shorts are asked to deliver - that would go a long way toward explaining the recent explosive moves in the stock. JNPR market cap is now $11 bn. - a firm with $30mio in revenues operating at a loss - no matter what their growth rate is, this is incredible and shows that this market continues to be full of speculative excess.
