Does this outfit have a website, Carl? ... seems like one would be useful, then a person could find out if they had a local station, and some idea of the programming. We're here on the left coast of Canada, in range of Washington stations, and we only get two hours a week of spanish programming on a local co-op radio station. It's mostly the predictable political rap, very little música mexicana and news and other good stuff.

Hispanos generally tend to keep their culture, they just add the new one in assimilating, take the best bits of both. This may be more true in Canada than in the US, i don't know ... but there are third-generation kids here who are fluent in both languages, in fact some in Québec are comfortable with three, that province having french as well. You hear some wild versions of espanglés, franglés, espançais. There's also Chinese, East Indian, Punjabi, Italian, Ukrainian, etc of course. This is how english got to be the language it is, by absorbing both words and populations from other languages and cultures.

Trivia - i heard once that one of the top twelve or so Japanese cities on the planet is Sao Paulo, Brasil - two daily Japanese newspapers, over a million speak the language daily.

Anyway, even gringos listen to radio hispano - the music is full of sun and life.
Hard to say what that means to the share price of this one - it's got quite a market cap.
But it sure would be nice to find a local station.
