Thanks. I am pretty heavily into this stock.

I cannot believe that the president of the company would buy 90,000 shares (and he has a record of trading the stock, to the extent that the law allows it) if any news was about to come out that would drive the price down. Especially since this company seems to do next to nothing to draw attention to itself with a view towards lifting the price of the stock.

The figures I get from the Vickers insider trading information are somewhat confusing to me, and I am not sure they are posted correctly there. According to Item 6 at the end of the September, 1996, 10-Q, as of October of last year Hodgkinson held 781,400 shares of Optima, but nothing like that shows on the Vickers data.

In any case, I see no reason to doubt that the 90,000 purchasor was Hodgkinson, adding to an already huge stake.
