Grant: Heh... Heh...Allow me the liberty of going piece-by-piece:
>> Sold my puts on Friday after I saw your bud Frankenburg on CNBC. <<
I don't fall in love with ANY company, or CEO <smile>, He's there to make money for ME, you and any other investor.... period!
>> I'm happily uninsured! He appears to understand the marketplace for his product, however, its clear that none of the Yahoos (pardon the use of a brand name) on CNBC understand Netware's roll in networking.<<
Well, that's about par for the course. I would roll over if ANY of those guys understand anything about anything other than 'how to be lazy and translate press releases into bylines' Guess now you know and other's know how I feel about journalism (with the few exceptions of folks like, Peter Coffee, Nick Petreley, Barry Nance, Dan Glimour, Will Zachmann, hell, even Stewart Alsop). But, they'll lose their jobs too for 'objective reporting'. Heh. Heh!
>> The market probably doesn't understand either, and thats worrrisome....And where theres worry theres profit. <<
Yup! It's just a matter of time, though. Just a matter of time. <smile>.
>>King Frank did say that Novell has not been approached about a buy-out since he's been Pres.<<
Yeah, right, and this is being responded to by the Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy or Santa Claus (Pick one).
Grant: Thanks for your comments. Lemmee play my mantra again (Not for you though).
BEGIN MANTRA:
OK: 1. Tough Stock. 2. Frustrating. 3. Can get you EASILY P*ssed off. 4. Will take time. 5. WAIT 8 months. 6. Industry will WAKE UP to MSFT PR Machine.
Someone said in a previous post 28 unlikely (from me).
One more time:
My TARGET was 28 but I'll bail at 22. I WILL make Money. Folks that are/have been in low-mid and high 20's for a long time, well, they have a 'stretch'. Anyone in at 17 or below will make money.
END OF MANTRA
Joe.....
