OT and not: DownS, exactly where I got stuck on the thread over the weekend and I jumped back to the thread tag and skipped the message.

I wonder how far the new analyst recommendations and affirmations (SSB in mind particularly) will carry this run. It has been giddy, but I'd just as soon see a pullback so I can buy some more and so the chart has a bit more base to these levels. I also do think that, whether from a LUMM, the other photonic company that Kent referred to in his post, the private Foveon, or somewhere else out of the blue, JDSU's market niche is so relatively young, so fast developing, that it is probably inherently unpredictable as to innovation coming out of left field. That could come from JDSU (which might be a victim of its own success in the "innovator's dilemma" sense) or outside, and may play to or against JDSU's strengths. This is probably a wild card in holding this gem. jmo and welcome other thoughts.
