Zip disk stuff ...

Curiously, when Zip disks are formatted with the 'My Computer' format, they get formatted with approximately 95 meg of space, but if you use the Iomega Zip format program, you get the full 100 meg of space. I don't know what you get if you use FORMAT /Q, since it only erases files and directory entries and, as yet, I haven't tried it.

Either way, you can still delete files and re-use the diskette.

Cheers, PW.

P.S. If you accidentally buy Mac disks, you'll need to re-format them for a PC. The process takes about 15 minutes.
