Lehman's recent research report on EMC's purchase of Data General states the following:

"This transaction allows EMC to expedite its entry into midrange storage.
DG's CLARiiON and NUMA architecture are attractive additions to EMC's arsenal.
In addition, CLARiiON will help the company develop a larger presence in
network attached storage. Also, EMC estimates that this deal will expand the
company's addressable market by 40%, to $50B."

On the clariion website, most to the info focuses on SANs rather than network attached storage.

You have mentioned in a previous post some comments about Data General. Could you elaborate on Data General, the clariion offering and NTAP's status against it(them).
