You know what? I think you are absolutely RIGHT!!!!! SOmething weird is going on here!!! ANd yes! I had those nesting urges bigtime. Before before each boy was born, I went wild- and then a day before- I had the urge to scrub the kitchen floor on my hands and knees. And here I am cleaning pantries and closets.. Now let's see---THe plastic bags were because the first spraying I was barefoot and my feet got all black, which was bad because we were going to an elegant picnic to meet other Rice parents. BUt I sort of lotioned and sandpapered it off and they only had a grey tint. THe green felt---Friday night CW invited a bunch of guys over to play poker and spend the night and I wanted to cover the card tables with felt so it would be like a casino. Um- the tape on the couch--- oh! Ammo was lying on the floor and he said, "You forgot to finish unwrapping the couch when we bought it, Mom." ANd he had pulled all the tape off. But now I can't find the tape to put it on again, because I used it to cover his books and it's disappeared. CW's girlfriend's parents are nice beyond belief. He has a PhD from Stanford in engineering, and he loves CW because they think alike. Her mother is one of those women who does everything beautifully and always says the right thing, and she is beautiful too. If she weren't so nice, I would hate her. All this means that terrible disasters are going to happen with the meal. The cats will bring in a dead bird and jump in her lap dripping bird guts, or the there will be a worm in the salad and it will move and look her in the eye just as she's about to put it in her mouth. I'm a fatalist. It has happened too many times for me to believe otherwise.
